Is the 'ticking' speed related?

So I tried to tighten this bolt, which actually was a bit loose, but with no change, the sound is still there.

The noise sounds mechanical and only happens when being driven? I would check anti-roll bar bushes and the other bushes to see a foreign body has lodged itself in there or if one of them is worn? |

Hi RichP, the noise is more like plastic-like. However, today I swapped front wheels and the noise is now coming from the other side, which means that this wheel/tyre is causing it. But I have no idea what it could be as I couldn't find anything in the tyre thread. Could that be some object inside of the tyre? is that possible? |

A small piece on blue metal (stone) stuck in the tyre tread!

I often get stones stuck in the tread of my quarry pickup which usually come out at speed but sometimes need removing. Can also get stones jam between brake disc and caliper or backplate which makes a real evil screeching. These can sometimes be shifted by shunting backwards and forwards a few times but have needed to strip it to get them out. |
