If it is loader under acceleration (whining) and the noise drops of when just rolling its the "Diff pinon bearing" The torque puts side load on the pinion bearing thus if it on the way out it makes a noise.

I noticed my fl2 getting noisier than normal. Seems to drone above 25MPH and noise comes from the back. It's done about 42000 miles so far of which 12000 miles from my driving since last April. Getting 3rd service tomorrow by Team Valley and I have asked them to investigate it.

My FL2 has been noisy from the rear ever since I bought it nearly two years ago.
