Has anyone found a product to permanently remove wax/polish residues from plastic trim? I have scoured the internet and, from the reviews, can't find anything that is completely effective.

I have to agree with LR Nut, the plastic dye stuff is very good. It brought the light surrounds of my 90 to almost factory fresh with just a couple of applications.

It looks like the plastic could be permanently etched by wrongly dliuted tfr. Give Autoglym bumper gel a try . I have seen rubber/plastic etched like this before . Keep us updated with the outcome .

Many thanks for your help. I'll try the gel first before resorting to the dye. LR nut did you find it went on evenly with the supplied applicator or is it best to brush it on? Reading some of the online reviews it's tricky to remove if you allow it to dry on areas you don't want covered. |

If it's old polish then you could try a pencil eraser or a magic sponge will do it,just be gentle with the sponge. |
