The later Samsung probably won't be compatible with your car years software, an update at great expense will probably pull in all the later phones, ask your dealer before you commit. |

The last 3 of my 4 Freelander 2's had factory bluetooth, never a minutes problem with HTC phones. My son pairs his iphone easily when visiting.

I would keep trying. No problems with my iPhone 6 and MY07 FL2. |

Have you had any updates at the dealers for this?

Have you tried deleting any old phones already stored in the car as mine did this until I cleared them. |

Hi it doesn't show any other phones when I start the process, it sees my phone OK but says "adding phone failed, would you like to try again" if I press the button for "yes" nothing happens so I have to choose no and start again

When you try pairing your phone to your radio you do allow your phones bluetooth to be visible to the car or you will find that you will not be able to pair it as the audio unit won't detect it. I know this first hand as the Mrs keeps having this issue. |
