Well I used to teach children to speak weird foreign languages and kill each other (army cadets). Now when I'm not doing housework while Mrs PM watches TV and plays with Facebook, I do archaeology for free and run conferences for money (sitting in swish hotels drinking coffee, eating, doing the crossword and (downside) being nice to people). Some spare time would be nice. Ex AA Series III LWB Safari - Gone

I was an Electrical Building Services design engineer and loved working up until I was 72 and only finished then as the MD had taken on a guy to work in parallel with me as I had informed him that I was going to finish when I was 75 (Which was fair enough as you have to have some continuity) but when the pillock started sending me emails from the other side of our open plan office instead of walking 4 paces to talk to me, I told the boss that he was an "Arsehole" and walked out there and then.

12 years fixing aircraft, 5 years teaching people to fix aircraft and 5 years ensuring people have fixed aircraft and are complying with legislation on and around the aircraft. Followed by retirement to look after my daughter whilst Mrs goes back to work. My daughter is now at nursery full time and I now work at a factory that makes engines. |
