been out tonight in the FL with Osrams and the other with Halfords. Not a huge difference but I think the Halford have the edge.

Think I will buy a set as spares for when the Osrams break. Still go the originals as spares but as we do a lot of country driving, no street lights I am after the most light possible.

So - goodbye Osrams, all the hype and no staying power at a cost that is very expensive when you calculate the short life span.

I have to say that given the palaver involved in changing a bulb on the FL2 I am thinking of trying something else next time if the longevity of current bulbs isn't significantly greater than the last set. I like the extra light they give but not the lack of reliability.
