2008 Freelander with wet passenger side (RHD) carpet. Water leaks through the bonnet release catch - any fixes to suggest? |

the flaps are clear, as are the drain holes |

I would trace the cable back from the latch to find where it enters the bulkhead and passes through to the inside, i suspect theres a displaced or perished grommet and water is running along the cable and entering the car at this point? |

got a problem with my fl2 2011 water leaks what can only look like from the bonnet release handle down and literally floods the pass footwell so much that the overmats float. |

As said further up make sure the drain holes in the plastic near the windscreen and the flaps near the bonnet struts are clear. |
