I would imagine that the mounting point on the floor was too big to fit into the wheel and won't allow it too be fitted as such? |

Does the wheel just sit over it or do you attach it somehow? |

The wheel sits over the jack kit and a long threaded rod with a hand wheel* secures the wheel. It is screwed into the threaded hole next to the jack securing bolt. Part Number LR002872

I have the standard 17 spare iron wheel and I turned it upside down as soon as I noticed the possibility to use the new space. Everything fine and jack is still in position. The only problem is if you really need to use the wheel, it is down down down... |

Ah wonderful photo post thank you. Just got my FL2 and previous Owner had everything loose in the back. Can't have metal parts jumping around there in the rough stuff. It's tightly packed in now. (I thought the washer welded to jack handle was an owner mod, turns out it's intentional). Thank you. |

The alloy wheel sits over the jack. Look closely and you can see the jack below the alloy.
