They may well fit but what is the wheel load rating on the jaguar alloy? The Freelander is a much heavier car and will they alloys cope ok hauling a 2 ton trailer load? MY14 Kahn Converted Dynamic - Fuji White Ebony/Pimento Interior

Good question, but before you call the Jag wheels weak, tell me what's the load rating on the Freelander 2 or Evoque alloy?

You should be OK. They are designed to run low profile tyres, and you'd use a higher profile tyre for the Freelander. So more give in the wall.

I'll be fitting the Evoque wheels to the Freelander, the Jag wheels were more a "wonder what they look like?" thing.

It was the same here. I first put them on my last FL2 in mid 2012, and it was quite rare. Hence me getting rid now! Freelander 2 HSE Lux 2013MY - Barolo Black with Ivory Leather. Alpine DVD - Privacy -Evoque 20" Dynamic Wheels and more to come......... |

Sure, just make sure that the FL2 has all 4 wheels on the ground at all times. When one wheel lifts off the ground, the other 3 have to take the weight. Sometimes even 2 of them have to take the weight for a time. That is why there is a load rating... example below:

That thread only talks about the tyre load rating, not the wheel load rating.

Ok. Sure. Then my last suggestion is make sure your insurance is ok with it. Would be terrible if they decided not to cover anything for any reason... My Ride: Clickety-click |

There is a load rating on my Freelander wheels, max load 680 kg. I am sure there is on on my Evoque wheels, but without getting a mirror on a stick and probing around outside I can't remember what it is. As I have just finished nights it'll have to wait.

I had a look at the factory 18" wheels on our FL2, there is no load rating on them, which wheels do you have that are marked 680kg?
