It's the one on the rev counter dial, stays on constant |

It could be any number of things, you need to get a DTC from the car to identify what has put the MIL light on. It happened to my Son's FL2 a couple of months back. turned out to be a seized Turbo and EGR valve. done under warranty thankfully but it cold just be a dirty connection on a sensor or split hose for instance. Has the car gone into de-rate/limp mode Ian. |

Just filled up with supermarket fuel yesterday, light came on this morning. With all this bad weather im thinking water in fùel, could that cause it? |

It takes less than a minute to connect an OBD2 reader and read any stored /active DTC's and if present will lead you straight to the area of the fault. If you don'y buy a cheap one ask your local garage to do it for you.
