its a "asb bearing" one side has the magnetic pick ups for the abs etc, i would imagine youve put in the wrong way round |

I am almost positive I put it in the same direction I pulled it out... but I will double check

yea black side(magnetic side) is facing the sensor |

yes figured out... i don't think the bearing was seated all the way for whatever reason (even the clip was in) i just put a block of wood over the hub and smacked it a few times with a hammer and all sensing came back... |
