Hi all, have had my my13 xs a couple of weeks now and still getting used to it after my 57 plate manual, noticed today about 4 - 4.15 as it was starting to get a bit darker that the dashboard lighting kept changing dependant on amount of light available,for instance as I went under some trees and it got a bit darker outside, the dash dimmed a bit then brightened up as I came out from under trees, lights are set to auto and were on, sat nav stayed on daylight colours just got lighter and dimmer as described,is this normal? It's not really a problem just want to be sure it's all as it should be.

Yes, correct. All dash lighting including touchscreen and driver control centre change with ambient lighting conditions. MY15
