Hoorah!

There is 2 different models on blacking plate, one whit drilled hole in middle and normal whit out drilled hole?

whats the point? will it pass " some " fumes to sensors that they dont belive that its stucked and wont lights any come on?

Does it need some remapping after installing it, ive got 2007MY whitout DPF.

About limp mode, if it goes to limp mode after plate, do i need to remove it and go to local dealer to reset limp mode and it will get back to normal?

Italy 2007 Freelander 2 TD4 S Manual Orkney Grey

I've asked to the seller if this one ( restrictor, with the hole)

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/EGR-VALVE-blanki...SwpDdU22us

can be fitted on a DPF-equipped Euro4 Freel2 and he said that there's no problem and no warning lights or ECU errors....someone are experienced with it?

thank you in advance Smile

2007 Freelander 2 TD4 GS Manual Stornoway Grey

Use premium fuel with higher cetane rating, will burn clean and fully unlike the cheaper stuff which leaves sooty deposits from partial combustion which makes EGR fowling worse and worse (circular problem).

Use an EGR cleaner every 1-2 years, makes a huge difference.

Beware insurance with an EGR blank if things go pear-shaped one day ...
