I remember as a child in the 60's hearing ordinary folk saying that there are two big problems coming in the future

This war began about 1000years ago, started during the time of the crusades, whos purpose was to convert Muslims to Christianity, its been brewing for a long time, the soldiers of the crusades were barbaric in their conduct over 500 years , all in the name of religion, I do not condone the actions of the terrorists in any way but it is a case of what we started coming back to haunt us , bombing them is a start, unfortunately it only takes one who is already here to cause carnage , religion is the cause of many wars & problems! |

Me being naive maybe? Ive said similar to people living in much more multicultural areas and they say it makes no difference. There is nothing to see even in the 'melting pot' towns in Yorkshire and no reason for this hatred. I do meet a few muslim guys, they come from Bolton collecting chickens from time to time. Their main passion is children/family they love their kids and cant stop talking about them. Nice guys I always make time to chat to them. confused At work At home "I can't always believe facts I read on the web" - Charles Dickens winner by default of the tractor vs caravan race |

The vast majority of Muslims are decent people & do not associate themselves with the evil that is Isis, there is a huge difference between genuine Muslims & the fanatics of Isis , unfortunately they are all grouped together when it's talked about , I feel for the genuine decent & honest Muslims if the world branded with this evil, it only takes a few to give a bad reputation, hopefully most people are intelligent enough to see the difference, but again there are many who will not. |

They say that perception is everything and the problem that Muslims have is that they are perceived to all be the same. This is clearly not true but I think that it's high time that senior Muslim Clerics stand up and start shouting publicly about these issues. Yesterday the Pope and the Archbishop of Canterbury made statements about the Parisian atrocity but I don't recall anything from senior Muslim Imams or Ayatollahs. 3 x FL1 2 manual + 1 auto

I understand that tomorrows friendly football match England v France at Wembley, the England supporters will sing the French National Anthem as a mark of respect and solidarity. Another member of the failed FL2 clutch/DMF club, twice. |

It is deeply worrying that after the Charlie Hebdo massacre, 27% of British Muslims in a poll found some sympathy with the killers. Do it now ! Your a long time dead !! |

Just spotted this on YouTube. Judging by a quick glance at the comments, it has gone down well with French viewers. Not my kind of humour personally but I thought I'd share it. Warning that it contains much swearing.

Just settling in to watch England v France and praying there will be no terrorist activity. The Germany v Netherlands friendly has been called off due to a "concrete threat."
