I deleted this post because I thought thats what admin were wishing I would do.

But I was trying to make a point on how things that are supposed to be serious are written and can be misleading and read in different ways, rightly or wrongly.

The press article stated there was a "Concrete Threat", now that can mean a threat to or from concrete or building materials, which it could be if a building was blown up, but I think in this case the author meant a "Definite Threat"?
In which case why dont they write it so theres no doubt whats meant instead of trying to be fancy about it?

Writing something supposedly serious in such a manner is exactly what lawyers look for in a court of law to tie folk up in knots because its misleading

I agree with your new post and your thoughts on the press article, perhaps that explanation would have been best the first time round, many wouldn't understand the comment and the way it was intended and further comments would only have taken the thread off topic.

Back on track ... Let's hope the Mali situation is resolved with as little a loss of life as possible.
