I've been having a little scout about on auto trader for my next car. Looking for another 4x4 but something a bit bigger. I have been comparing them all to the fl2 and am surprised to see that autotrader state in the specs that the fl2 is wider than pretty much all other 4x4's out there. I've listed the widths below , I believe this is not including wing mirrors

From what I can gather it's the width without mirrors. Some other sites state with mirrors the width of the fl is 2195mm |

The guy that owned my house before me had the garages built to accommodate his Landcruiser Amazon and my Freely is a tight squeeze with the ears out! |

I've certainly noticed that she sticks out more than other cars in a lot of the on-street parking bays despite getting her as close to the kerb as poss No Longer the owner of a 2013MY Fuji White GS

The Freelander 2 is wider than a Discovery 4 by a few cm's. The Discovery MY14> (current shape) is now however wider due to its redesigned wing mirrors. When entering a certain shopping car park I've really got to watch as I don't have much space either side of the mirror housings and with high kerbs on either side of the barrier one wrong move and you'll scrape half of the spokes on your alloys. Well that's the case with 22s on but still daunting with 19s MY14 Kahn Converted Dynamic - Fuji White Ebony/Pimento Interior

Its slightly wider than my old RRS by about 1 cm, However 'square' design makes precision guidance in tight spots fairly easy although sometimes it freaks the missus out.. Haven't scratched yet anyway ! FL2 Ex D2, D3, RRS, etc. now all gone. |

1910 with the mirrors retracted and 2197 with them out. Retracted the car sits nicely in a normal parking space. I keep forgetting and unlock the car as I approach, then struggle to squeeze by the extended mirrors. |

Yes and the face lifted models are wider than the earlier models with the mirrors folded too. |

The Fl2 is a lot bigger than it looks, it's similar in size to the Disco 1. 21MY Defender 90 S 3.0 D200 |
