I believe the purple pipework is for all telecoms cabling (matrix signs, phones, midas loops, weather devices etc) Could be wrong though however it sure beats ''I spy'' to keep the kids from moaning |

yes they do get tickets over a certain tolerance (although that tolerance is now being brought down to 0% over the limit) When they were widening the M1 between J28 and J25 for 3 years, they caught and prosecuted in the region of 5000 drivers I believe. |

I was on the M74 again today going north in the road works, I was doing 50 and a motorbike passed me like I was going backwards. Do it now ! Your a long time dead !! |

Motorbikes know that the cameras target the front plate, which they haven't got.

Heading down the M1 I noticed that some of the yellow cameras were facing away, I assume they have an issue with motorbike Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis |

The A9 works for making into dual carriageway are currently blessed with many miles of 40mph limit due to work to . . . . . ? Well, I can't see it, can anyone else?

It was interesting on one of those traffic cop programmes on the Beeb the other night when a policeman stopped a woman doing 95 he said that the government tolerate 10% + 2mph. So that means 79 on the motorway which he agreed was the case. |
