ok - probably yes it should put the footwell lights on at the same time. Just checked out of curisoity and the merc does but as you say the fl2 doesn't. If you want one on then it's reasonable to expect everything to come on at the same time. I've also noticed that no other car I've come across, other than mine, and inc the fl2 has what I'd call, decent interior lighting. Hit the button in the dark or open the door, and you get a vague glow in there and thats about it. Maybe I've been spoiled by the merc, but when you hit the button, its like instant daylight in there. If anything, they've overdone it. For some reason everyone else seems to think that a little crappy 5w bulb, hidden behind a foggy diffuser is acceptable. Not a rant at LR, every other car I've driven is the same.

I thought Freelanders were getting this for 2009MY or is it 2010MY?? My RRS TDv8 already has it - it's called the ignition key................................ How can carbon have a footprint, it has no feet?
