United Kingdom 2007 Freelander 2 TD4 SE Manual Tambora Flame

ok - probably yes it should put the footwell lights on at the same time. Just checked out of curisoity and the merc does but as you say the fl2 doesn't. If you want one on then it's reasonable to expect everything to come on at the same time. I've also noticed that no other car I've come across, other than mine, and inc the fl2 has what I'd call, decent interior lighting. Hit the button in the dark or open the door, and you get a vague glow in there and thats about it. Maybe I've been spoiled by the merc, but when you hit the button, its like instant daylight in there. If anything, they've overdone it. For some reason everyone else seems to think that a little crappy 5w bulb, hidden behind a foggy diffuser is acceptable. Not a rant at LR, every other car I've driven is the same.

Is there an LED replacement for the interior bulbs (I've seen the boot light ones but what about the roof?) and are they really any good? 07 Freelander 2 TD4SE Tambora Flame, side steps, privacy glass, mud flaps, boot liner and a tow bar. Ok it's the Wifes but she lets me drive it occasionally - if I've been good!

i replace my interior roof lights, they are the same bulb as the boot

It now a bright white light and its alot lighter

The company i bought them from have, have been treating some members over on D3 very badly, faultly light been sent out, but say they worked when left, one even sent £40 of lights back to the and the claim they never received them, after asking if they were sent recorded or not. and hanging up the phone when it comes to complaints. NOT the way to run a reputable business. Rolling Eyes

There is a thread over there about **traleds, Stay away they are not worth the hassle

Anybody know a better company that sells LED's need to get the rest of them now Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis

well??

I just rented a euro spc BMW 120 - and the interior and puddle lights are a bright white LED - very cool at night.... and it has the auto engine stop... when I stop at light, in neutral, and let off the clutch it shuts off... then when I push the cluch back in bang its running... very cool... wish the LR did that --- sounds like and ECU program to me....(retro fix maybe - that would be a VERY green move by LR Mr. Green )

They say that you can still see the SE online, because its still being sold. Once stock is clear or near clear (drinking a beer), then only the HSE will be avail to config online.

But, I've heard nothing official - and I'm sure I'll be the first that LR calls to inform me of my much lesser valued SE LOL

But, if I switch to anything it will, at this stage and game, the Audi Q7. Now that IS not a tacky ride.. no is the A6 Avant - that car really opened my eyes - blast to drive, tight as a button, and interior like no other. Loved the MMI interface they have. I'm not one for the all in one screen. (which is one reason I liked the LR2 nav, was its only a nav), but Audi nailed it.

Our TV show "Top Gear" slated the Audi Q7,
I think they do look nice, large, but nice, but not nice enough to buy one, we don't have the room over here.
