Hi guys, I'm looking to get an extra programmed key fob, are there any recommendations as to where I can get one at a reasonable cost?

I've checked using the search function but there only seems to be posts about new cases or programming.

You can buy new ones on eBay BUT it must be a new one as fobs can only be paired with a car once so second hand fobs cannot be reprogrammed to a different car. If you buy a new fob it will need programming to operate your car, a dealer or Indy will be able to do this for you, not sure of the cost of this. Black MY2013 SD4 GS Auto, Wood Company Armrest, Freel2 sticker.

Short for independent, therefore not a main dealer

I just bought a 2007 Freelander 2 HSE with 43.000 miles on it. The previous owner lost the spare key. Where/how can I find for the right key? What is needed to program the key? I live in Brazil. The cost of a new key is about 400 GPB at the dealer!!!

Yes I bought a new fob which you need to get programmed for the car, I don't think there are any short cuts to save money unfortunately. I think the only way is through a dealer.
