You can fit an extra earth strap from the engine/gearbox to the body at any point, under the car even. |

Ordered one today for delivery this week, 31" with 8mm one end and 10mm the other which will get connected to the starter motor.

Yes thought about that, but don't have one! I think this is something I need to invest in as I can see that it will come in handy in the future. Presumably they work off compressed air? I have a small compressor but it may not be big enough for the job, any advice on what to get is welcome.

If starter bolt wont loosen leave well alone and use another fix point.
