What numpty thought it would be great to have to remove both headlights to throw a switch for Europe driving? I know, I'll just pop out the unit on the ferry and hope I don't drop it or get caught in the hold.

Have you checked that you do have the switch? The manual says you do but most cars don't! It's been discussed a fair bit on the forum. Check the lights out before you go. You may need to buy deflectors (or some black plastic). Ex AA Series III LWB Safari - Gone
