I like the idea of 6+ but the idea of the saying "is that a 6+ in ya pocket or ya just happy to see me"'comes to mind!

cqr depends on what phone you have at the moment? It's it's a brick then the 6 will be superb! If do a lot of shopping on your phone then personally I would recommend the 6 Plus or 6 S Plus. The 6/6 Plus will be cheaper now also that the S series are out. The Plus also has better battery than the 6. The S Series both have a 12MP cameras amongst other great features. However I'll be keeping my 6 Plus and just wait for the iPhone 7

I went with the 6 because it fits in my pocket easier, I did look at the plus and liked the larger screen but just a bit too bulky when in a snugg case for my pocket.

My contract times it perfectly for the new model as opposed to the S models. So far I've had the 4, 5 & 6+. I will be upgrading to the 7 next year LL.B (Hons) - University of Derby

I've had 3, 4S (lost it), 5 and now the 6. I usually buy the phone out right and go for a sim only deal. It works out about every 2 years I change my phone. 21MY Defender 90 S 3.0 D200 |

I've had the 3, 4, 5, and now the 6. I always buy outright and go on sim only deals too. Gotta say the 6 has been the worse phone (physically) for me. Works fine but I find it an awkward shape to hold and have dropped it numerous times. Once down a -filled toilet (cost £275 to be repaired) and only last week dropped it from the top of a ladder while using it as a monitor to adjust my CCTV camera. Cost £80 to have the screen replaced. Most annoying was that only two weeks ago I paid £25 for a super duper screen protection film. At least it kept all the bits together! If the 7 isn't any better, I might consider going back to a 5S.

I pay £70 per year (one off payment) and get 12 months insurance cover. No excess on the policy and it covers for theft, loss and accidental damage. Never needed to claim but its worth it in peace of mind. Would have paid dividends for you. LL.B (Hons) - University of Derby LOT (Lord of Time) - University of Gallifrey |

Maybe for this one it would have but I have had a mobile phone since 1985 and my first phone cost me over £1,700 - on contract! This is the first time I have had one damaged, lost or stolen so on balance, I'm quids in! |

Any pictures of the 1985 mobile phone that you can scan and upload? Must have been a hefty piece of kit. LL.B (Hons) - University of Derby
