35 here. Bought it at 34. But yes, the majority of folks I see driving them are of a certain age. And generally going to B&Q, or Dobbies. Which probably means I'm an old man as that's where I see them Smile FL2 TD4 GS 60 reg Facelift - so many issues
2019 DS. Terribly unreliable.
Sold DS for a 2021 Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV. Fingers crossed....
Sold Outlander for a 2014 SD4 SE Tech because I’m mental
Now greatly regret selling the Outlander. MPG of the FL2 is atrocious and so are the fuel bills. Fun though 😎
Couldn’t afford the fuel bills so back to an older Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV. Significantly better than I remembered it to be…

I'm 33 by the way.

Lol, also came from a GTI6 with Stage 2+ mods... thought i would be unimpressed with the FL power.. .um, not... already done a remap on it and it takes stock GTI6's for a run... Laughing Laughing

I'm 36 btw, but got it when I was 34. My Ride: Clickety-click

If you did this for a Defender you might see a different demographic. My kids were driving Defenders (and tractors) on a farm by the time they could see over the steering wheel. 3 x FL1 2 manual + 1 auto
5 x FL2 4 manual + 1 auto
Now Discovery Sport P250 MHEV SE

Old mans car?? still use mine on rally stages with timekeeper, closing car following last car in, or as MSA Scrutineer at Off Road events. Will possibly cover 200 miles plus at Mull Rally next month on scrutineering duties. All single track roads.
Nae time to feel old!!!

I have an FL2 because it suits what I need a car for.

Got my first FL2 when I retired the first time. An 07 plate SE auto. It was crap!

However bit the bullet 3+ years ago and purchased an 09 SE auto which has been good and purchased for the very same reason as Durand but for a rally radio role which does not knock up quite as many miles. Currently approx. 47.5K
Also used for towing my caravan (sorry CG) but this it has enabled me and "her in doors" to enjoy 10 weeks of touring the UK which would be totally not affordable if using hotels/B & Bs etc.

Bill.(Aged 76 and a bit)

PS. Love to know how many mile Henry Buckets puts on his clock in his role as rally closer car? Life Honorary Member of Wallasey Motor Club.
Licenced MSA Radio Operator for 35+ years.
Rallying is the only sport.

When I first got it I was really unimpressed with power , the more I drive it though the more I'm finding it to be pretty capable when the go pedal is pushed hard !

I can amend the heading but the data within them wouldn't change so its a pointless task, maybe a single heading of 18-75 and see how many there are Laughing

sorry about the ages ranges , looking at them now they aren't the best ! Although I think it does confirm my original feeling about the Fl2 being a older mans car. Still , I'm not getting any younger am I Sad
