Whatever is on here, sadly everyone can now check 'market' prices, you may get more privately but nayone armed with the info on here will haggle you to death. |

Probably better trying to get £8500 privately and then getting something off the new one, or as taz says WBAC.com

That's quite a good trade in price for the summer months isn't it? One site I looked at said 7.5K for trade in. A main dealer will want to put 2.5K to 3K on top of the price before putting in on their forecourt.

My last car had 8 grands worth of extras on it but when you come to trade it in the dealer says the extras arent worth hardly anything, until they put it back on their forecourt to resell that is!

I suppose it depends on what youre trading in for to a certain degree, if you were trading in for say a brand new quarter million quid RR Phantom they might give you 25 grand to get you as a customer as they know they will still be making a killing on the new one anyway? |

I'm looking to change my HSE soon. I think I might be better off strippng the bits off of it and selling it as a standard car - Silver sparkle wheels, side steps, rear spoiler, clear indicators, mudflaps, spats, rubber mats, side protector strips, xenon headlamps. They've got to be worth a few quid and as others have said, you wont get much more, if any, on a px. |

strip off what you can, without leaving evidence behind and then sell it on here or a well known auction site.

my dealer wasn't bothered at all when i told him i wanted to remove items off my old car, didn't bat an eye lid and some items were held back on with clear tape, no spare wheel holder, jack either, towball removed, no lightbulbs inside as i took all my LEDs out
