Hi,

Does anyone know if the 2.2 diesel (post '62 facelift) has hydraulic cam followers, shimmed or other?

Also, is the cam profile different between the TD4 and SD4 engines?

Thanks.

The 2.2 has hydraulic tappets. I believe that the TD and SD have the same camshaft and the different performance is achieved with the turbo map and the fuelling callibrarion (as is the torque curve shape difference between manual and auto) Gone... 2013 XS TD4 Manual Firenze Red

Thanks Chris,

That's what I thought, and there should be no tappet noise as a result.
