Sending reported error - 0x800CCC13. Cannnot connect to the network. Check your network connection or modem.

I have tried disabling the firewall, and I can delete the message if I Work Offline. Oddly I sent one email before the problem started, but suspect that an update has introduced the problem. There are reports online of this happening. I guess I need to work through them all and try to figure out which one, but if you have a fix....

Thanks
Simon

the one that worked for me was giving full permissions to the "Users" group on the Outlook data folder, but you may also have luck with this

Setting 'Full Control' did not make any apparent difference. So I tried the first link which instructs to run 'sfc /scannow' and then reboot. It reported that it had found problems and repaired them, however on rebooting Windows applied updates which I wasn't aware were pending and Outlook now sends. I am sure that I have rebooted since Outlook started not sending, but perhaps not.

Anyway the problem appears to be resolved. Thanks for taking the time to help.

Simon

Microsoft were aware of the Outlook issue, and maybe the updates contained a patch for the problem Steve

I had problems with my hp desktop when upgrading to windows 10 first my control panel wouldn't work which turned out to be caused by a Idt audio driver conflict. Then my desktop went black disappeared rang Microsoft tech who then rang me back and remote fixed the problem which was caused by another driver conflict which was caused by the auto driver update Censored which can not be disabled. When I used my latest drivers from the manufacture window was automatically installing older out dated ones. Big Cry

When I read the stuff about what Cortana reported to MS I disabled it and won't use it, I have enough trouble constantly shutting off "personalised advertising" without allowing yet other spying on my pc / online useage! Between MS and GCHQ nothing is private anymore and I am getting old enough to feel cranky about it!

I too suffer from the odd WiFi issue. Although it isn't a fix, I quickly get round the problem by right clicking on the WiFi icon in the bottom right and select troubleshooting. It does a quick check and fixes the issue every time. FL2 TD4 GS 60 reg Facelift - so many issues

Now greatly regret selling the Outlander. MPG of the FL2 is atrocious and so are the fuel bills. Fun though 😎
Couldn’t afford the fuel bills so back to an older Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV. Significantly better than I remembered it to be…

If anyone is interested, I have now upgraded several different makes of computers to Win 10 and each of them had problems with wifi connectivity. I installed the latest drivers etc. They would be OK for a short while and then lose the connection and I would go through the process of getting it back and sometimes ending with "Limited" connectivity.
What fixed it for me was to have a look in Device Manager at the wifi adapter's properties. Click on "properties" and under the "Power Management" tab untick the box " Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power". Since doing this I haven't had any problems. 3 x FL1 2 manual + 1 auto

While we're on wifi, anyone else realised the implications of wifi sense in Windows 10. Everyone in your contacts list and social media friends gets access to your wifi whenever they are near enough and a key is held on Microsofts servers somewhere unless you change your wifi ssid to include the phrase opt_out.

This has been an option on Windows Phone for a while now and although I've always turned it off, I think it is quite a good idea. A WiFi password isn't like hour banking login or email password, it is good only for accessing your local wifi. I suppose someone could get hold of it, sit outside your house and go through any files accessible on your network but to be fair it is possible to hack most WiFi networks in a few minutes anyway.

I would have thought that there is a setting to disable this rather than putting string in your security key though. Certainly is in WP and I seem to remember turning it off when I installed W10. FL2 TD4 GS 60 reg Facelift - so many issues

Converted both my PC (acer) and my laptop (an aging acer someone gave me) and had no problems. Don't notice much speed difference but then I don't do much complicated stuff. Does boot up a lot quicker though. Only glitch was losing the sidebar gadgets, but they can be re-installed from the web. If you don't like 10 you'll find it has retained your old system and you can go back to 7 (or even 8 if you really want to). I'm not going to use their new Office though. I like my stuff here on my desk, not floating around in some cloud I have no control over. Norton is my anti-virus; I've heard there are problems installing it with MacAfee. Ex AA Series III LWB Safari - Gone
300TDi Disco (bought new - terrible car) sent back after 18 months
Freelander 1 Estate - leased, given back at end of lease
200TDi Disco (bought from a mate with 100,000 on the clock) - Gone
Disco 2 TD5 - sold and exported to France
FR2 TD4 GS - Gone
FR2 SD4 HSE - Now changed for a DS
New model ex-demo Evoque S 180 in white
Unable to order a new DS, so gave up. Now have a Volvo S90 Recharge.
