I couldn't help wondering why the driver needed to put up the third row of seats for the dogs! All somewhat contrived.

This was my favourite but I guess they aren't chasing this market any more.

Pretty poor standard of advert for Land Rover in my opinion. Doesn稚 sell it to me. Hope the car works out better. Gone:

This was BMW's effort for the X3 back in 2011, it was on the tv quite alot at the time, strange that you don't see that many 4x4 adverts nowadays.

It seems to be all about the "urban off roader" experience now. It's amazing that everyone wants to be in the SUV category now, even Bentley and I understand that over 50% of Porsches built are the Cayenne 4x4.

It has occurred to me, that given that the DS Auto has the same Transmission Selector 'Dial' as found on the Jag XF, that there is now no provision for Command Shift 1 when tackling obstinate terrain.

You supposed to be antisocial these days if you have a 4x4, all the eco lot want you to have nothing more than a Nissan sick Note. |

Yes, I forgot about those I have one for the day next Tuesday, so am going to give it a proper off-road test at Avon Dasset. The Freelander can cope with those gradients...be interesting to see how the DS fares. Knowing my luck, I'll rip the sump off Foraging near Gaydon.... 覧覧覧覧覧覧覧 MY13 HSE Lux SD4, Baltic Blue - current, 30,000> miles without fault MY12 HSE 2.2 SD4, Sumatra Black - gone after 10 months/43,000 fault-free miles |

Just select it using the paddle shift. Active Driveline is supposed to be the business, better off road ability, I've never tried it so don't know for sure how good it is. Not sure if it's available on UK cars yet. 21MY Defender 90 S 3.0 D200 |
