eco engine switch off

not sure if this has been discussed before, but noticed recently the engine isn't switching off when stationary, even when air con and lights are off, and engine is warm. any one any ideas as to why ?

The most common reason will be that your battery is weak Td4 XS manual, Orkney Grey, MY2014

Stop Start needs some decent runs to operate correctly.
Doing short runs, putting too much demand on supply or having a duff battery will individually (or combined) cause 'stop start' not to function as it should. FL2 now gone and have a couple of items left for sale:-

Brodit active iPhone holder + Brodit dash clip,
Bluetooth Music Streaming Module.

England 2013 Freelander 2 TD4_e GS Auto Sumatra Black

Since I fitted a new battery last December stop/start has worked fine. My battery was four years old when I replaced it, if you are thinking of buying a replacement you will need a AGM 80Ah 800CCA battery. The one I got was a Varta F21, it was about 130 quid. Black MY2013 SD4 GS Auto, Wood Company Armrest, Freel2 sticker.
Gone MY2010 Freelander 2 Manual TD4.e S, Alaska White.
