Just in case you hadn't noticed this is a Freelander 2 forum, you may receive an answer but please stop posting the same question in different threads |

Hi again, was told it would be prop shaft,a common fault, so I have removed the property shaft to see if the vibration stops. Before the vibration came through gear stick and car, now gear stick is alot better but more than before through car the car.It seams at its worst when accelerating even at 30+40 all the windows mechanisms in doors are shaking with such a force I don't want to drive it. Loosing faith, any suggestions much appreciated |

The freelander 1 and Freelander 2 have completely different running gear, there is very little commonality of parts, if any.

Painter there are two types of Freelander. The first being the Freelander1 and the second being the freelander2. They are very very different cars. This forum focusses on the Freelander2 (2005/6 onwards) although there might be people on here who have some knowledge about the older Freelander1 model.
