Vibration

Hi again, was told it would be prop shaft,a common fault, so I have removed the property shaft to see if the vibration stops. Before the vibration came through gear stick and car, now gear stick is alot better but more than before through car the car.It seams at its worst when accelerating even at 30+40 all the windows mechanisms in doors are shaking with such a force I don't want to drive it. Loosing faith, any suggestions much appreciated

The freelander 1 and Freelander 2 have completely different running gear, there is very little commonality of parts, if any.
There are a few members on here who have previously had or still have FL1, however, they are few and far between, you would be much better off asking the question on a forum dedicated to the FL1.

Painter there are two types of Freelander. The first being the Freelander1 and the second being the freelander2. They are very very different cars. This forum focusses on the Freelander2 (2005/6 onwards) although there might be people on here who have some knowledge about the older Freelander1 model.

Hope you find the answer to your problem but you'll probably get a quicker response on a forum focussed on the Freelander1.

[in a ditto to what Taz said]
