They could say they thought they heard a dog barking in the back so removed the cover to smash your windows to get it out, or they feared it was loaded with explosives etc, Im sure theres a legal excuse they can use to remove the cover, and then whilst they are about it give it a ticket, and put the cover back on as a surprise for you when you remove it??? |

i agree, in this day and age they would say they heard an alarm clock ticking and thought it was a bomb and next thing you know its blown up

On encountering a covered car, the ticket fuhrer would likely just call the police and say he believes a stolen vehicle has been carefully hidden in his car park.

You can get car covers now with a transparent section in it so you can see the number plate.

Sounds like one of those things that is probably technically correct, but in the cold harsh light of day just wouldn't work.

They would probably give you a ticket for parking a car cover and not a car, a jobs worth type, you know them.

You could do as someone was reported to have done a few years ago have a car same make and color as the local police cheif with the same nuberplates as his
