Big Cry Why isn't the ford everest coming to the uk as it looks like a better like a reworked freelander 2 and greatly improved.

Looks like a Chinese knocked off Freelander, Laughing the terrain system may also be licensed from JLR, it looks too similar, with that in mind part of the licensing may exclude it from certain markets.

Just been doing a few jobs on the FL2, brake pads plus replacing a couple of blown fuses etc. Can't get over the number of FoMoCo logos you come across whilst working on the car. If the Ford Everest is a FL2 clone I wonder if it will have the same diff noise problem ? 3 x FL1 2 manual + 1 auto
5 x FL2 4 manual + 1 auto

Derived from the Ford Ranger T6, built in Thailand, and only available in Asia-Pacific markets........apparently.

Australia 2007 Freelander 2 i6 SE Auto Tambora Flame

I was surprised by how much the terrain response system looks identical (at least in iconology (is that a word)) to the LR dials.

The Everest is coming to Australia, but it is priced fairly high. 1st time FL2 owner. 2007 SE i6 in Tambora Flame.

Australian regulations differ from Europe, had a Mitsubishi Magna over in Tas for a while, never came over here, something to do with crash regs I think. Had a 3 litre V6, if it ever did come over it would have had something daft like a 1.4 Laughing

Quite a few models that you have over there never make it over here, despite the fact they are RHD too.

You're right about the TR dial which makes me think it may be licensed.

As Ford owned LR who knows what they hived off when sold on, may look the same, but as BMW found out there may be bits missing that stop it working the same as modern LR's my PC is slightly to the right of Genghis
2012 HSE SD4 In Orkney Grey now gone, best car ever.
