In my FL2 today...

Sad I took my sweet gentle greyhound Molly to be cremated after she died yesterday, quite suddenly, aged 14. I can't believe how sad I feel & how much I miss her being there...

In my fl2 today , I waited nearly 4 hours whilst they changed the rear shocks! 1 1/2 they thought they'd be , however they did change the tyres for me & track & balance them, Goodyear wrangler atsa+ , much better drive & grip now, then got home & replaced the Air filter for a britpart performance filter , and had a look around in the boot for the live feed that's talked about on here, pics

Fitted rear spoiler last night and have to say really chuffed with it, makes the back look more proper Thumbs Up

I know a lot of people say that its just for looks but much less crap on the rear window now and it helps shade the rear window

I got it muddy (slightly) for the first time since buying it.

Was at a country show thing today which meant driving through a couple of wet muddy fields. They were hilly too. Sort of. In fairness there were Fiestas and stuff there but still, first time I've driven on a surface like that. The car in front was wheel spinning so I put the FL2 into mud ruts mode and it was lovely. Wanted to veer off the path and go a bit crazy.

So not exactly extreme off roading but best for me so far. FL2 TD4 GS 60 reg Facelift - so many issues
2019 DS. Terribly unreliable.
Sold DS for a 2021 Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV. Fingers crossed....
Sold Outlander for a 2014 SD4 SE Tech because I’m mental
Now greatly regret selling the Outlander. MPG of the FL2 is atrocious and so are the fuel bills. Fun though 😎
Couldn’t afford the fuel bills so back to an older Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV. Significantly better than I remembered it to be…

A very foggy return to Perth today from inland Western Australia.
Being this the Freelanders first country run I was super impressed. Coming from a V6 to the diesel I was curious to see how the Freelander 2 would go. Effortless is the only way to describe. Just to give you some sort of picture, leaving Perth CBD and going East you have to pass over our highest terrain which is high enough to require Arrester Beds for Semi Trailers to be able to stop safely in the event brakes overheat. The Freelander did it effortlessly.

Door to door city traffic to highway speeds and climbing hilly terrain a round trip of just over 300km and not driving
Favourably and with the power available, and being used, I'm amazed 7L/km, only using a quarter tank as you can see. Actually, slightly less than a quarter as i filled up Thursday and reset computer on leaving Saturday morning! On flat highway cruising I have no
Doubt would match official figure. On this note forgot to take roof rails off! Didn't even
Hear them, very quiet, Infact no wind noise.
Overall super happy the Freelander and has hit 5k on this trip. MY15
