It doesn't matter if Muckboots or anyone else doesn't like it, they're entitled to their own opinion.

The main reason they dont like front windows tinted is it prevents the police seeing who is actually driving and it might not reproduce your face properly on camera should one take one of you, nothing to do with you being able to see out, though thats the excuse they will use, its all about them seeing you.

Well! in Auatralia we have legal heavy tint on all windows and the cops can still get a clear picture of you so I can't see why in the UK their equipment would be inferior!!!!

Did you spray the grille & side repeaters yourself or buy them , if so where did you get the grille? ..I don't know whether to spray mine or buy black.. |

Just clip them out and spray them - It's an absolute doddle and I'm useless at all things spray paint (after a botched and abandonned wheel refurb on a previous vehicle).

I tried 2 things: First: Plastidip on the front grille, side vents and badges and wheels. Good for 6 months, then it started to become more and more grey. So I took it off (with quite a lot of difficulties...) Plastidip has been a big waste of time and money in my opinion. Now: Front grille, side vents, badges are genuine and painted in gloss black by a professional coach builder. The result is 3 times better than with plastidip. It looks genuine and smart. You can't buy the front grille because it is fixed on the bumper, but when the coach builder painted it, he did not take the grille off from the car. --> Make it spray gloss black by a pro, it is the best result you can have ! |
