Did the half day experience at Eastnor on Saturday in a DS Auto and have to say I was impressed with the way it coped with everything - even climbing up the concrete steps. Following a D4 through some of the obstacles and seeing the wheel articulation required I was amazed that the DS made it through without any drama.

Must be the very first Kahn DS. I thought they would've done colour coding, big exhausts and a better exterior colour.

Kahn have kept me in the loop with this one since they took delivery of the vehicle and I've seen these pictures some while ago. I also thought the same a J77. It is externally very tame and has been launched with 20" alloys. Ron what I think J is meaning is that it's a subtle colour for them. However currently there signature is the Volcanic Rock Satin Colour Scheme which is like a matt grey colour.

Try Hamster Baskets, they make it to fit your car and requirements, you can even assemble it inside to get round the crappy DS entrance my PC is slightly to the right of Genghis

I will look them up. Transk9 come highly rated by other LR owners. Was looking at one for my D4 before it got the chop.

I wondered that about the towbar - the D3/4 and RRS receiver in the chassis was genius so why now go back to a massive lump that needs the car dismantling to fit or a factory fit with butchered bumper - I'm lost for words As said - only reason I can see is profit but it's irritating me and I have decided not to fit one - this will be the first LR I've ever owned without a towbar I'm hoping my collapsible pets@home cage will fit or need to spend more money Wanted a Series 2 LR since childhood but previously owned MY16 Disco Sport HSE TD4 Auto, MY13 RR Sport Black Edition TDV6 Auto, MY10 RR Sport HSE TDV6 Auto, 2007 Freelander 1 Freestyle TD4 Soft Top, 2009 Freelander 2 GS TD4 Auto, 2007 Freelander 2 GS TD4, 2004 Disco 2 Metropolis Auto, 2002 Disco 2 GS, 2000 Freelander 1 SE TD4 SW Still hoping for a S2 one day! |

I have fitted many in the past to different LRs but removing bumper and cutting is ridiculous and a backward step imho so going to see if I can manage without. I have a safe bag to line boot with seats down so hopefully no mess
