I asked the question about the seatbelt at Halewood, the instructor turned round and looked puzzled when he saw there was no adjustment

I'm the opposite, not keen on the look of the 20" wheels.

Not big issues, but areas where LR could've put a bit more effort in. My main one, is the lack of seat belt height adjustment, Incontrol Touch could be a bit more simpler, the navtech sat nav needs to be ditched in favour of a better system. It isn't a bad car but there is room for improvement over the coming model years. 21MY Defender 90 S 3.0 D200 |

Left early for work this morning and took the DS for a little play in the rough, nothing extreme but enough to catch the DS out. I was quite surprised at how comfortable it was going over some of the large ruts, the photos don't do it justice but the incline was quite steep, it did cause a bit of concern with the DS not having the best approach angles but it was fine.

Nice pickies J77 -I do like the colour. My main objection to the DS as an off roader is that rear suspension - those trailing arms will catch and drag on every bit of rock they can find - I don't see why it was worth compromising a vital inch or two of clearance there to end up with road handling characteristics which are still not quite as good as the usual soft roader competition. |

I suspect the revised rear suspension has more to do with making room in the cabin for the third row of seats than it does with the handling. |

Exactly right! The fact that you don't have the intrusion of the strut towers into the load area makes a huge difference in the DS even though not really bigger than FL2. MY15

Finally seen and felt one - Stratstones had a few on there forecourt and I must say I have mixed feelings. The colour makes a huge amount of difference as does the tinted glass (don't like it) which gives the car an elongated look, sort of out of balance. That being said the price drop for the 150hp 5 seater is to be welcomed.
