No prob. - just pass on the pineapple that was mentioned in an earlier thread to the old nick in question . http://www.freel2.com/forum/topic2272.html Still, if you don’t own - just see how far they will get with a prosecution Sounds like a real pain though - hope it sorts itself out 2007 Freelander 2 HSE TD4 Manual with Premium Pack & Moonroof. Just pop a photocopy in when you send back the form. I got snapped driving the FL in Hull. 50 in a 40, 100 yds before it changes to 70 on a corner the fl would cruise round at 80 so why the hell its a 40 I have no idea - but anyway - They send the Mrs a form asking who is driving. I fill it in and send it back, they return it saying they can't accept it. They then send me another form asking if I was the driver. I send it back saying "Yes" but am not allowed to send my docs with it. I then get a notice of intended prosecution asking for my docs. All this took 3 months and cost a fortune in postage and admin. Given that in 99% of cases the owner either was the driver or is sitting next to them at breakfast, why the hell they don't just have a "Who was the driver" and an "I was the driver" form in the envelope I have no idea. 07 Freelander 2 TD4SE Tambora Flame, side steps, privacy glass, mud flaps, boot liner and a tow bar. Ok it's the Wifes but she lets me drive it occasionally - if I've been good! |
