Whether the cars been stood still for 5 months or not the car will still need servicing according to the service log with is one year or xxxx miles depending on country your in

Are you saying that, in extremis, if a car stood still for a year in a showroom, with 0 km on the clock, it still needs its oil and filters to be changed?

On a new purchase the warranty starts when you take delivery like you say but just because you don't use a car doesn't mean the services can be extended
