Well Whilst waiting I had a quick look at mine again and think the seating was not complete and fully locked.

Shows the rubbish design if it can be fitted, appear secure yet not be. Clearly not "Murphyproof".

Actually I notice on mine that it sometimes has play and clunks and other times it doesn't.

Looks the same as mine... no clunks or rattles thus far with a 1.6t caravan. |

I cannot understand JLR's love affair with Thule/Brink. There is a design weakness there for certain that is letting the JLR brand down. If they must buy from the continent then why not go for Westfalia - far superior design. Or keep the business in UK and go for Witter. Cannot be faulted IMO. 10MY (Sept 09) TD4 HSE Auto in Stornoway Grey (Now Gone)

Hello folks dont mean to drag on this thread, I have spent ages going through this thread it and over most towbar threads. I require a detachable towbar for our new (to me) freelander 2 sport. However i really dont want to have to cut much if anything out of my bumper. The only towbar i can see that doesnt need much removed is this brink one but worried that this fault is still present are people still getting problem with it even though they have modified it? If anyone has a witter or westfallia fitted to a sport/dynamic would be greatfull of a picture to see what it will look like. Regards
