Hi!Just a confirmation that Hereford LR have fitted the modified towball and receiver and all is now well. I suggest that anyone with a similar problem should contact their local dealer as a fix is now available and listed on the Dealer Landrover Technical website Ralph

NP.....Maybe you should do the same for the parking sensor problem: Thumbs Up
Go to the dealer for a factory reset
Go back to the dealer to replace the rear sensors
Go back to the dealer to replace the front sensors
Go back to the dealer to replace the ECU
Go back to the dealer to replace the rear wiring loom
Go back to the dealer to replace the front wiring loom
Get down on one knee, hands together, eye's closed, and pray that it never rain's Bow down
Or better still do what you did and change the car Rolling with laughter

Hi Markrt,
Don't know about the technical website but get them to ring the service manager at Hereford Landrover (01531 640746) and I am sure they will give them the web link. Basically the towball and receiver has to be changed as the original specification between the male and female parts was too great. (sounds like something else to me but couldn't think of a better way of putting it!). Ralph

Hi Markrt - Ditto RalphK suggestion but to give you another option Farnell LR 01943 871100 (service dept) - looking on the GTR website it shows a Service bulletin on the detachable towbar as SSM40971, can't say this is the actual one as you need to be important to be able to gain access (and I'm not) Thumbs Up

Oh yes thats it, the one that is with the local dealer who will not return my calls, I have even tried to trade it against another one but in nearly a week since I enquired not one salesperson has returned the call even after giving them four seperate reminders, even spoke with LR yesterday and they were supposedly phoning back this morning.
