Hi All
I am new to LR ownership as well as this forum.
I have had a Freelander 2 HSE LUX for about a week and we are off to Holland on Saturday.
So I am looking forward to the drive from Merseyside to Hull and then from Rotterdam to Zeeland. Very Happy

Cheers, Pete

Australia 2011 Freelander 2 SD4 HSE Lux Auto Barolo Black
These Freelander 2s are Magic

Hi All,

A few weeks ago I took delivery of a 2011 SD4 HSE Freelander and I have to say that it is a truly wonderful vehicle. My mate had one and kept waxing lyrical about it so I was really surprised to hear he had sold it. "Wouldn't pull my van" was his only reason for parting company with the FL 2. His van weighed 3 tons so he bought a Range Rover Sport to do the job.

So on his recommendation I bought a Freelander and it really is a sensational car. I've done almost 4,000 kms already and can say that the fuel economy is good, it's extremely comfortable, beautiful to drive, has a great turning circle, and is basically everything I could want in a car.

Well done Land Rover designers, engineers and builders.

Thanks,
Ross

Im a bit scared to even think about costs , but as long as it's less than my 32 Gtr at 16 to the gallon ! It was a sad day to see it go to a new home ,but being sat in my dads barn for two years it wasn't helping me Big Cry

United Kingdom 2015 Freelander 2 TD4_e SE Manual Orkney Grey

Come back to a Freelander after a 3 year break, Used to have a 2010 XS as a company car and now bought my own a 2014 XS, I missed it too much so had to get another. Thumbs Up

New ones got a different dash/console and LED lighting but other than that its basically the same as I had before, and it would appear almost the same colour previous was Stornoway and now its Orkney.

Glad to be back.

2007 Freelander 2 TD4 S Manual Orkney Grey

Hi all just picked up my new to mW 2007 TD4 s 74,000miles full LR service history. Had a bad experience with a petrol freelander once but wanted one of these for ages. Not bothered about all the bells and whistles as long as it tows my caravan well.

England 2007 Freelander 2 TD4 HSE Auto Barolo Black

Hi All

As a newbie I would like to say hello to you all and ask if anyone has had any problems with water leaking into the front passenger foot well.
I have had the FL2 since January this year 57 plate black with HST kit super spec as it's HSE well pleased with it apart from this leak.
I have had a new seal fitted around the door jam but still it comes in.
I have had a hose pipe all over the roof, down the edges of the sun roof along the doors down the wind screen etc etc
Last week in Norfolf I lockedhttp://www.freel2.com/forum/images/smiles/icon_cry.gif the keys in the boot and had to leave it overnight at the golf club, it was pouring with rain for most of the night and as windy as it could be in Norfolk, when checked it was as dry as a stick Crying or Very sad
Any thoughts please it's driving me in sane.

Thanks
