England 2007 Freelander 2 TD4_e HSE Manual Ipanema Sand
engine issue?

Hi all sorry to post in the wrong section if i have. Basically when accelerating i seem to loose power for a second its not happend before only just started happening any sugestions ( car is a freelander 2 07 reg td4)

Taz, that link refers to the trouble with the 2011 models. OP's is 2007 model. Don't think this applies.

Rhidd, I am no authority on these issues, but does yours hesitate at all times, or (say) on initial acceleration only when changing 1st to 2nd gears? Some have had difficulties with smooth clutch operation which can give similar symptoms. I did at times when I had my manual. Failing that, there is little mechanical to check. When was the fuel filter last changed? A blocked filter could give hesitation faults if you are making big demands with your right foot Embarassed Other than that, you may have to resort to a diagnostics check at your friendly dealership.
