nothing, mines in the garage.

However the HSE SD4 loaner drives very nice, and does have a smooth pull away compared
to my AUTO, which is also a HSE AUTO.

Hummm, if mines still has a jolt on pull away when I pick it up from the garage for the
suspected throttle position issue, then they can keep it until it drives as smooth as the loaner.Smile

Went out to town today with mum and wife, all going well till we got back to the car park.... to my shock no one had dented it, then we go to leave and on the way out of the car park some dippy women decides she is going to back right into me Big Cry She said she thought she had gone the wrong way so panicked and wacked it into reverse while I was behind her, I was stopped behind her say 10 feet back wondering why she had just stopped then as she reversed back at some speed I dogged it into reverse and tried to back up until her hit the landy, must add as soon as I saw her reverse lights come on I honked a few times to no avail Shocked

So I now have to tee cut the bumper to get the scratches out grrr. Not being funny but its a 2.5 ton landrover with its head lights on..... how can you not see that Laughing

I fitted rear screens. I realise this is a useless mod (no one sits in back) but I got such a cheap deal on flea bay and it kept me busy for a few hours.
They are the LR freelander 2- 6.9" screens which will need an AV source.
If anyone sits in back I will advise them to bring their ipod or similar Laughing

Joe Love the rear screens, my 4 year old granddaughter would love them, if I got her an ipad. Smile

Today I went to Horwich near Bolton and picked up (towed) an RNLI D class inflatable boat.
Then took it to St. Helens for a fund raising event at Taylor Park and then back again late afternoon.

Hey, isn't that Robert Palmer - 'Addicted to love' where he's dancing with some models who're playing instruments or something...

What did I do in my Land Rover today? Drove from Hamburg to Basingstoke. Shattered!!!! Time to start the registration process and get UK plates slapped on it. Oof. Channel Tunnel's ace, but still wish I could've gone by hovercraft. 2013 SE TD4 in Mauritius Blue [Written off]

I did nothing other than take the kids to a party today. But getting into that car still made me smile. Good choice. FL2 TD4 GS 60 reg Facelift - so many issues
2019 DS. Terribly unreliable.
Sold DS for a 2021 Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV. Fingers crossed....
Sold Outlander for a 2014 SD4 SE Tech because I’m mental
Now greatly regret selling the Outlander. MPG of the FL2 is atrocious and so are the fuel bills. Fun though 😎
Couldn’t afford the fuel bills so back to an older Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV. Significantly better than I remembered it to be…

Fitted a towbar. Well at least the steel bits.
Still got the electrics to fathom, so stand by for possibly basic questions over the next few days! 2009 FL2

Also fitted a towbar and electrics plus rear mud flaps to my new (to me) HSE Lux which I collected yesterday. Front mud flaps tomorrow and body strips to follow.

'New' car is a November 13 (63) SD4 auto in Firenze Red with ivory Windsor and a little under 11,000 miles on the clock.

Typical Landy load onboard>>>> me plus inflatable dingy, outboard motor, Seagull fuel, oars, anchor and lots of boaty clobber, three 20L jerry cans (other nationality cans not available), coil of 50 meters of 50 mmm flexiduct, coil of 50 metres of 10 mm coated copper tube - and the shopping. (Oh and of course with a full size spare tucked under the boot floor.) Drove into jungly field and had a play with Grass gravel snow setting just for fun.
It never even thought about getting stuck. Efficient grip Goodyears with 35k on them still very grippy, original clutch, original Haldex - 73k miles of fun like this with my Freely2 - what a truly great vehicle!
