After trying to scrub them clean unsuccessfully my wife suggested that I tried her favourite cleaning cloth - Huggies.

My tip for rubbers is Black shoe polish, put a bit on a brush and rub vigorously until your eyes water, then buff with a dry cloth or clean brush. |

I just jet-wash them when I do the car. It doesn't get everything off, but who cares - they'll be filthy again in a couple of days anyway! |

jet washing is normally part of my cleaning too, not everytime though, mine are currently a nice shade of brown at the moment Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis |

I find it dries better if you use 303 just the once, gets expensive using all day Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis |

Baby wipes are also good for cleaning insects off windscreens, cheap tesco's ones are good enough for this, makes you wonder what they do to a baby's bum Ghyllie oo! a good pressure wash, a quick spray of tyre black, leave them to dry off while you detail the car. Job's a good 'un |
