Hi hope you can help , my wife's freelander 2 ,2008 diesel, has engine light on and when I use the one code reader it says turbo underboost and supercharge , cleared code and was fine for 3 weeks then back on this happened after a pipe that had split to the front engine area was changed , it was making a hissing sound on revs and I thought it strange ....any way more recently a warning light in a triangle came on with the info logo telling me engine underproforming, along with losing power when overtaking a car the other day ...... Turned off and was fine to get home but not used since can anyone help ,,,,,

When was the fuel filter last changed. 3 x FL1 2 manual + 1 auto
5 x FL2 4 manual + 1 auto

I'm not sure but can check , it's all started to have faults after the butterfly flap was stuck at the front of the engining , was very flogged up had it cleaned out and the pipe changed which was causing the hissing sound , but now the code reads underboost turbo and engine under pro forming , would it be the filter then .... Or something else , I'm getting my garage to do the diagnostic test Monday ......

You may have a couple of issues here but I have had a two FL2s where the reduced engine performance message came up together with poor starting and hesitation and no fault codes. It all went away when the fuel filter was changed so worth checking. 3 x FL1 2 manual + 1 auto

Had diagnostic machine on fl2 today by landrover specialist in Hatfield , they ran over faults and changed the fuel filter so your spot on , inc filter and diagnostics , labour did there and then, for me , so far so good ....
