If I took sterling out of my ABSA in CPT, I could get close to 20ZAR/GBP just on the Waterfront from burghers trying to get their money out of the Republic of Philamon's Foraging near Gaydon....

Thanks for taking the time to provide updates I am hoping to get a secondhand something next year and hoping there will be a few Discovery sports on the market then or Land Rover start producing cheaper models. Have you taken yours offroad yet? My only worry with the DS is ground clearance along rutted tracks. |

I've had it across a wet grassey field, performed as you would expect from a Land Rover. Ground clearance is 212mm at the front and rear 235mm, I would need to double check though. The Fl2 had less at the front but more at the rear. There is a couple quite spots I can go along to try it out, something for next weekend 21MY Defender 90 S 3.0 D200 |

Spotted one on the road whilst walking back from the gym. I just can't believe how small JLR have made it

I'm running around with this at the moment, the DS is in for its first and hopefully last warranty work. It's unwritten law that in LR ownership the car must go back to the dealers in the first month.

That particular one is very comfy, I think it has the Lux seats. My one was just a bog standard pure not much on it so didn't really feel like a Range Rover. I'm getting attached to my loaner, but I think the DS is better built, my temporary Evoque (15 reg) has a few creaks from the dash trim, and seems to be a bit of a miss mash of trim, piano black around the electric window controls but silver dash inserts and centre consol trim with a dotted pattern, though it feels more spacious behind the wheel than the DS. I forgot how much fun the Evoque is on country roads, my one didn't have dynamic setting on the TR, so I gave this one a good thrashing along some back roads, which brought a smile to my face. The SD4 Evoque, perhaps because it's smaller, feels like it has a lot more pace than my DS.

Well decision made for me. Old one polished up and provisionally sold. Replacement low mileage XS purchased.
