I quite like this idea, the daughter doesn't like tints so these can be removed and just left on the rears. I don't think the centre line will be an issue, I have a dog guard fitted |

I had a full set for my antara that I had before my fl2. It already had factory privacy whuch was quite dark and the shades made it almost impossible to see in. Could open the rear windows and the shades stayed in place still providing some privacy.

We had all the windows replaced in our block or Units years ago & paid for our Unit a considerable extra amount, about $2000 to upgrade to laminated glass. We did it for 2 reasons. For extra security, but mainly to block UV. As LR NUT mentions, glass, whether it is tinted or not does not stop UV from passing through. You need to put a film on the glass which reduces UV & or infra red spectrum if you want to reduce heat as well, or use sun shades to reduce the risk of melanoma skin cancer. Statistics in Australia, on average people have slightly more skin cancers on the right arm than the left. Also found peoples faces have aged a bit more on the right hand side, due to the large number of road trips due to single occupancy cars. People at the high risk end of getting melanomas, i.e. fair skin, red hair etc should seriously think about actual UV window protection rather than privacy glass. Lastly while on the subject of UV. All solariums have been banned in Australia. They are NO safer than the sun. Procrastination, mankind's greatest labour saving device!
