Cheers guys, you have all been so polite Laughing

@purplemadboy - Interior is Cirrus/Lunar graind leather which is perforated, the glass completely transforms the whole interior. I found Ebony to be a bit claustrophobic.

Just one little thing that's bugging me at the moment is the interior lights are LED except the footwell lights and map reading lights, why just not go the extra mile and fit LEDs all round.

I notice that the DS has its tail lights on when when just running with the DRLs. 4x4i is a nice touch, you can see when the haldex actually locks and when its open.

One poor feature, which isn't fitted to my one, is if you buy the expensive entertainment pack, you get the old software from the Fl2 as it uses the meridian system. Standard system is the 10 speakers + Incontrol touch, HSE has 11 speakers + sub woofer + Incontrol touch.

Returning 40.3 MPG, going by my Eco data. 21MY Defender 90 S 3.0 D200

I agree with you J77 , the light interior makes a world of difference . When I saw cirrus online it looked a greeny grey but I saw a DS in a show room and couldn't believe it was the same coloure , it would be my choice of interior . Do it now ! Your a long time dead !!

United Kingdom 2013 Freelander 2 SD4 HSE Lux Auto Orkney Grey

Was in dealer yesterday and had time for a chat with one of the sales team I know well as well as a good look round one.
Was selling them my FL2 HSE Lux Shocked

He said that most of their sales were from people who have found the Evoque too small.
Certainly more Evoque drivers buying them than Freelander drivers.
But , I guess that is where it is pitched!

They were buying my FL2 as they 'can sell everyone they can get' and they gave me a very good price Thumbs Up

Guess this is all very telling in some way Whistle Cheers Ian

The DS is selling well and the Fl2s are still walking out the showroom, it shows that both these cars can live side by side in the range. I do hope LR introduce the smaller Disco as a more traditional LR shape. 21MY Defender 90 S 3.0 D200

I don't think that we will see traditional shapes for a while, if at all as the 'new' styling is going to be throughout the range.

Here's a few of my wife's DS HSE Auto that we picked up last weekend. She traded in a 3-year old Evoque Dynamic and likes the improvement in the ride, transmission and comms. The seating position is also much better, more FL like. They seem to be rolling off the production line now.
