I must admit I wasn't sure I was doing the right thing, the first time I saw it I thought what have they done, when I saw it in the flesh I felt a bit better but not convinced, then I had the test drive and everything, for me, fell into place.

I can understand some of the negative comments on here because it is such a step change from the FL2. Having sat in one though it made my FL2 seem really dated. I couldn't believe how spacious it was for it's size. I am 6'2" and it didn't feel cramped despite the lower roof line. I can't afford new so buying one is not an option for me. I don't think you will regret your decision though. Early signs are it is going to be a huge success for Land Rover which means high residual values like the Evoque. |

Many of the comments on here refer to either the shape which many state is not LR but RR, others, though it is larger and more roomy it is not a practical roomy for their purposes, the shape and height of the tailgate entrance restricts the use as opposed to the more practical shape and size of the FL2. Very few actually won't buy it for it's ability as a car, perhaps if JLR made the DS as a RR and a slightly higher modified roof line as a Disco something, hopefully it may arrive. The worry is that the D5 may be a stretched RR Sport. thus making the DS logical. my PC is slightly to the right of Genghis

Yep has a speed limiter. Also has audible speed limit warning, I was doing 45 in a 40 and this woman's voice told me it was a 40 zone. S**t my pants when I first heard it, didn't realise it had something like that fitted. 21MY Defender 90 S 3.0 D200 |

While my car was being serviced I looked at one in the dealers showroom, I said to the sales guy about the lack of a spare wheel but he showed underneath the modified exhaust system with the spare underslung
